Specialising in digestive health, food intolerance, IBS, the low FODMAPS diet, plant-based nutrition, as well as motivation and fitness, Josh takes on a holistic-nutrition-fitness-mind-body approach to wellness.
As an Accredited Dietitian, Josh delivers comprehensive nutrition assessments, interventions and personalised meal planning, with the addition of fitness education, skill development and tailored workouts.
Josh is the founder of Reed Nutrition, a Dietetic consulting service based in Byron Bay, as well as the founder and operator of Reed Fit, a personal training, nutrition and health coaching business located across the North Coast of NSW.
On top of his dietetic consulting service and personal training, Josh delivers a number of health promotion workshops, writes for various health publications and guest speaks at seminars.
Josh hold’s a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Distinction from the University of Newcastle, and Certificate III & IV in Fitness, from the Fitness Institute of Australia.

After working in a number of clinical settings, including Port Macquarie Base Hospital, Forster Community Health Centre, the University of Newcastle, as well as with top level athletes including the Newcastle Knights, Josh now directs Reed Nutrition.
Based in Byron Bay, Josh currently manages and consults in a number of Dietetic clinics across the north coast of New South Wales.
Josh specialises in Gastro-intestinal health, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the low FODMAPs diet, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Bacterial Overgrowth, Diverticular Disease, Reflux, Bloating and healing after gut infections. Josh also provides extensive knowledge on plant based nutrition.
Knowing that motivation is key to behaviour change, Josh is passionate about educating and inspiring people who are over-worked, over tired, and over dieting, and he is known for his fresh and holistic ideas on nutrition and fitness. As a certified Personal Trainer, Josh specialises in total body fitness, high intensity sessions, kettlebell training, boxFit and circuits. Understanding that nutrition, fitness, sleep, stress management and adequate sun exposure are the keys to lasting health, Josh enhances wellness through a whole mind-body approach.
